Elbow River Healing Lodge (ERHL) is an Indigenous focused primary health care clinic which offers holistic healthcare to First Nations, Inuit, and Métis individuals and families. The goal of ERHL is to provide access to care that is safe and respectful of cultural beliefs. ERHL is made up of an inter-disciplinary team providing medical support from physicians, nurses, and specialists. Connection to traditional FNMI healing and cultural services is supported by the Elder/Traditional Wellness Coordinator. Social support staff assist clients with crisis support, resource navigation, case management, and advocacy. The vision of ERHL is to have healthy Indigenous communities that are connected and empowered to access healthcare.
