Suzy's Ice Creamporium/Original Alberts

We are a seasonal business with a "fry truck" mentality. Open Early March - Late October. The "Original" Mr. Albert Gendron, started this business from humble beginings in Kirkland Lake, Ontario in 1932, and, with the help of his family kept the Chip Truck "Rollin'" through to Sarnia, Ontario, and eventually found the perfect spot under The Bluewater Bridge in Point Edward, Ontario in the 1950's. The Gendron's sold the business to The Laviolette Family in 1990 where they remained stationed under the bridge until 2006. After contract disputes over location, the mobile food truck was retired, and we landed in our brick & mortar building just a quick walk away from Point Edward's beautiful water front and our old location!
