Somali Association of London Ontario(SALO)

Our organization focuses on addressing a number of challenges faced by the immigrant community in London. Our primary goal is to help individuals become productive members in the London Community. We focus on four (4) key areas: 1) youth development, 2) integration of new immigrants, 3)mental health support, 4) and cultural education. We help youth build connections to the community and become productive in life by providing mentorship and support on school work, and career planning. We support settlement of newcomers to the city and provide guidance for securing housing and jobs. Our organization believes that supporting individuals at the grassroots level is important for them to become productive members of the Community.
