Plumbing has slowly become a passion for me, I try to educate myself on every aspect of my trade, whether it be codes and regulations, the science behind the different aspects of my job, and especially it's history. The name "Appia" comes from The Aqua Appia, the first Roman aqueduct, constructed in 312 BC by the co-censors Gaius Plautius Venox and Appius Claudius Caecus, the same Roman censor who also built the important Via Appia.
