Hygge Knits - 100% Organic Wool

Fairly traded, ethically sourced organic wool beanies, toques and mittens made with love in a women's cooperative in Nepal. Hygge Knits is a way to support my favorite charity in Nepal, Antradristi and also the women's co-operative in Kathmandu that I have had an ongoing, symbiotic relationship with for many years. The result is a line that embodies the definition of the Danish word Hygge; a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being. Working with organic merino wool and linings made of upcycled and recycled materials, Hygge Knits epitomizes my personal mandate of low impact, high quality, organic and horizontally traded accessories that keep you feeling warm inside and out.
