Green Haven Shelter for Women

Green Haven Shelter is a community-based, non-profit, charitable organization. We provide critical support services for women who have experienced abuse and their children in the Orillia area. We support women and children by providing counselling, crisis intervention, and safe refuge while enabling them to make the difficult transition from abuse to independence. Green Haven Shelter for Women is a feminist organization dedicated to promoting the rights of women, with or without dependent children, to live in an environment of mutual respect. Through public education and advocacy we affect social change and will eliminate violence against women.
