Catalyst Software Finance is a leader in financing software in the SMB marketplace. Founded by the owners of Catalyst Finance, a leader in providing equipment leasing solutions for a range of industries including transportation, automotive, manufacturing, construction, professionals, medical, and others. Software financing was a niche that attracted our attention early on, but we quickly realized that the software financing and equipment leasing spaces were (and still are) very different. Banks were hesitant to finance software, which they often viewed as a “weaker asset”, and there were a limited number of financing companies offering distinct software financing solutions.
