Pain control clinic. At the Jacobs Pain Centre our focus is on holistic care and treating each patient as an individual. Our staff have been chosen for their expertise in the management of chronic pain and all our medical practitioners are licensed to practice in this area of medicine. They hold the change of scope of practice designation by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The clinic is a certified interventional pain centre holding the required certificate for this type of practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. You will find our staff medical and non-medical to be compassionate and empathetic. Chronic pain is a disease that requires a multi-disciplinary approach and is frequently mismanaged because of the lack of this approach. This is the philosophy at the Jacobs Pain Centre for the treatment of chronic pain.
