By Unhappy renter from BarrieTerrible in every way. One star too many on this review.Rented a car, it had no heat, returned it, the second had no heat. The Avis response was “we have no options you must turn around and drive the 2hrs back and change the car.” They did not offer a swap out in any of the dozens of towns we passed on the 600 m journey. Instead allowed us to take the vehicle to a service centre where the manager deemed the vehicle UNSAFE, and required a 2-3 day repair! Current temperature -30C. Franchise in Barrie provided a bad attitude, an unwillingness to help, after several calls we got a swap out from an airport Avis. The fact we had to drive 600 mi in a snow storm of -20 to -30 temps did not faze this franchise, had we been broken down on the side of the road it would have been a life threatening event. But Avis didn’t mind. Do not recommend.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
