We are a charitable Foundation, established in 1982 by Dr. Ferdinand Eckhardt, former director of the Winnipeg Art Gallery, in memory and honor of his late wife, the composer and musician Sophie-Carmen Eckhardt-Gramatté and her first husband, German Expressionist Walter Gramatté, for the purpose of advancement of public appreciation, understanding, and education of the musical and artistic works of these two people in Canada and elsewhere. We maintained an extensive archive and library, sponsored exhibitions, concerts; recorded SCEG's music, published books of WG's art, endowed orchestras & universities. The archival material is at the Archives of Manitoba; the art library with many rare books is at the University of Winnipeg.FIND JOBS IN CANADA
