Dr. Syras Derksen

Dr. Syras Derksen is a therapist who provides individual and couples counselling for a variety of mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma (PTSD), betrayal, separation, and communication challenges. He is trained in providing a variety of therapy modalities including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), client-centred therapy, prolonged exposure therapy and others. As a psychologist, Dr. Derksen is able to provide psychological assessments for personality disorders, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other mental health disorders. Dr. Derksen enjoys giving back to the community through providing supervision to other counsellors and also provides advice to the public through radio and television.
