Rising Above

Addiction treatment center in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Rising Above is a non-profit organization that offers a 6-month treatment program for those struggling with addiction, homelessness, patterns of criminal behavior, and other destructive cycles. Each client is provided with housing and is required to partake in programming which includes life-skills classes, case management meetings, Inner Healing sessions, anonymous groups, employment readiness training, and opportunities for personal and spiritual development. Clients are submerged into a supportive recovery-minded community and may be eligible to live in Rising Above's second stage apartment which offers continued safe and sober living for up to 18-months post-program.
