Heritage actively leases its mineral lands to companies to drill for and produce oil, gas and natural gas liquids (NGL). This activity involves marketing unleased lands and managing existing leases and royalty revenues. Heritage has in-house technical expertise to aid in the development efforts of its lessees, as well as a geophysical database of two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) seismic data for oil and natural gas exploration and development. In addition to leasing existing lands, Heritage is interested in growing its oil and gas exposure. Investments in fee minerals, gross overriding royalties and non-operated working interest production are all part of that strategy.
