I have a gift certificate that was given to me by a friend. She experienced the same difficulty. She passed her certificate on to me when she had to move out of town. So far it seems that Molly Maid likes to sell gift certificates with no intention of honouring them. I'll keep trying but will take the matter further if I get no response.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
