Mayne Island Health Centre Association

Mayne Island Health Centre Association (MIHCA) is an incorporated non-profit society, operated by an elected board of community volunteers, that supports and promotes access to appropriate, timely and sustainable health and wellness services on Mayne Island. MIHCA was established in 1976 to raise funds for, and oversee, the construction of the original Health Centre. Now, we work with island and provincial health stakeholders to identify current and future health care needs, fundraise to acquire new technologies and equipment, sponsor health and wellness education and events, and coordinate vaccination clinics.
