Northwind Industries Ltd. (NWI) is 100% Inuvialuit, owned and operated. NWI is a privately held corporation with its' corporate office located in Inuvik, NWT since the company was formed in 1997 and a satellite depot in Edmonton AB since 2007. NWI's fleet includes Highway Trucks, Winch Trucks, Bed Trucks and Oil Field specific construction equipment. NWI has, in the past (15) fifteen years, successfully operated in the Mackenzie Delta Region and along the Demptser Highway, delivering safely on time and under budget. The construction division operates Graders, D9, D8, D6 Cat Tractors, Excavators, Highway Snow Plows, Snow Cats, Water and Vac Trucks, Oil Spill Remediation Equipment. The repair and service depots, in Inuvik, are staffed by qualified licensed personal that have a reputation for working safely and efficiently for its clients. Registered with both the Inuvialuit Regional/Development Corporations and the Government of the Northwest Territories.
