MIKLAT means REFUGE. Miklat Recovery Society is a place of refuge from the storms of addiction. We are a non-profit registered charity providing a cost effective residential program designed to offer hope, inspiration and practical tools to MEN with the desire to stop using drugs and alcohol. These tools include but are not limited to the 12 step program, SMART recovery, life skills, anger management and professional drug and alcohol counselling. Many of the directors and members of the society have worked in the field of addictions counselling and treatment and have themselves overcome addiction.
