    WORST NAIL SALON
    This is absolutely the WORST salon here in Edmonton. I went in with a friend and asked about prices in which they said "$35 for shellac for feet, $25 for hand shellac and $30 for pedicure." However, it was weird that I couldn't stay in my pedicure chair to enjoy it while my toes dried and was instead rushed off it so another lady could get a pedicure when clearly there were 3 other chairs available. Then when it came time to pay, they charged my friend a grand total of $90 for hand and feet shellac (polish ONLY, NOTHING ELSE WAS DONE) and said that they had to charge for the removal of the previous color. And they charged extra for the color on her toes because it involved sparkles and SOMEHOW she was supposed to ALREADY KNOW that it was actually two shades mixed together from just looking at the color wheel. Really, she was just SUPPOSED to know. And they charged extra for the French on her hands, which, fine, I'll give them that but seriously, let your customer know if anything costs extra. The upsell was dishonest and shady and when I brought it up to them, they tried to justify it and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise, insisting that I listen to THEM. In no customer service situation should the consumer be told to "shh" multiple times, which was what they kept telling me every time I tried to open my mouth to say something. And when I told them that their upsell was dishonest and shady they told me that just because my English is better than theirs that I shouldn't swear at them. Really? Dishonest is not a swear and neither is shady. It simply describes how the people at Kool Nails are and how terrible they treat their customers. To top it all off, their voices kept rising when we wouldn't just go away so it turned into THEM yelling at US!! In what situation in the consumer world is the CUSTOMER yelled at? I will NEVER go back to Kool Nails.
