Proton Technologies Canada is a low-cost, zero emission upstream hydrogen technology company based in Western Canada. Our patented process provides a solution to repurpose depleted or abandoned hydrocarbon bearing assets that can be used to produce and capture hydrogen. Categorized as "Clear" Hydrogen production; Proton, operates and licenses its process globally, while maintaining its position as a global leader in both hydrogen production and hydrogen economic development. Proton Technologies Canada was founded in March of 2016 by Grant Strem and Dr. Ian Gates in association with the University of Calgary, Department of the Petroleum and Chemical Engineering.
