Prairie Hospice Society Inc.

Prairie Hospice Society is a charitable, non-profit organization born out of a need to provide care and support to individuals and their families as they face terminal disease. We advocate for and contribute to end-of-life care in Saskatoon. Our current initiative is a volunteer outreach program; “Hospice without Walls" and "Hospice Now". We provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support to people in their homes and offering rides and respite. We match trained volunteers with clients, maintaining consistent relationships. Our comprehensive training program prepare volunteers to offer compassionate non-medical care to individuals and their families as they face death and learn to cope with loss and change.
