Onkwehon:we Midwives Collective

The objective of the Onkwehon:we Midwives will be to provide assistance to Indigenous expectant moms and their families with reclaiming control of their birth plans, along with continued education and support throughout all the phases of an Indigenous woman’s life. "We will reawaken the strength of all mothers to bring forward the love and medicines from the Mother Earth which we dance upon, because we remember the coming faces." To revitalize our culture and strengthen our people through a modern Onkwehon:we midwifery practice by sharing Indigenous knowledge to ensure the safety of our babies and the well being of our families.
