In collaboration with clients I individualize their treatment for their presenting life challenges with the goal of improving their functioning and life satisfaction. I have an extensive background in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and for the past several years have been expanding and integrating mindfulness and acceptance into my clinical practice, which I do in a developmentally and culturally sensitive manner. With engaging therapeutic techniques, I teach clients how to be in the present moment and have their difficult emotions have less of an impact on them.
