    Misleading Information/Pricing in Nearly New Store
    I went to The Nearly New Store on Portage Avenue on April 23, 2014. I noticed there were fairly large signs around the store that stated "All BLOUSES $3.00" Great I thought and proceeded to find a blouse and a skirt. When I got to the checkout, the clerk gave me a total of $600 and then changed her mind. She then said that all blouses are not $3.00, only those without tags and that the blouse I had was really $20.00. I asked why the signs didn't say that. Her response was well, "they remove the tags anyway". Not sure what that had to do with the misleading signs and I suppose "they" referred to the customers that support this store. While I understand that the store is staffed by volunteers, this does not mean the store is exempt from having the correct signage and proper customer service. The clerks actually sounded quite annoyed when I suggested that they should include the exemption in their signs and continued to argue with me as to why they didn't include it in there signs. Customer service by the clerks was very curt and unfriendly and I would suggest retraining in good customer service and re-training about the importance of non-misleading advertising.
