R.E.C. For Kids Society

Formed in 2007 by a group of Rotarian's who wanted to see children in need access necessary sports equipment which would allow them to participate in the sport of their choice. The idea was to collect used sports and recreational equipment that could be refurbished and repaired and then redistributed to underprivileged youth recognized by referral organizations throughout our local communities. This in turn would give these children a sense of community and ensure their choices are positive ones through sports and other recreational activities. Now our many generous donations of used equipment and volunteer repair time by Surrey and its surrounding residents help make us one of BC's most cost effective charities.
