Super 27 wood burning stove was purchased in 2006. We have had to replace two baffles and two sets of side rails. Now the top of the stove has split in 3 places.I can actually see flames through the top of the stove. I got in touch with the company where we purchased it and they said that they would have to get in touch with Pacific Energy out of BC. Well.... I have been waiting over 8 months to hear back from either of them and NOTHING. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM PACIFIC ENERGY they do not stand behind their products. I was told I was burning it too hot. How does one burn a wood stove "hot ". I have a thermostat on our stove pipe that reads the temp. and it is always in the safe zone. I will not be buying from Pacific Energy or the company in Saint John that sells this wood stove.

I bought a pellet stove through a US installer. Pacific Energy BC is responsible for warranty support. The stove has failed every 2 weeks since I started using it in Oct 2013. Pacific Energy won't return my calls or emails requesting warranty on this unit. The last contact, they sent the installer sect 7 of the owners manual and told them the stove had to be completely cleaned often. The first line of sect 7 states cleaned annually. This was not a cheap stove. I suggest anyone wishing to purchase do so from another company that stands behind the products they distribute.
