Alberta Assessment Consortium

We are a not-for-profit registered society, funded by membership. As a recognized education partner in the province of Alberta and an independent voice, we are able to provide an informed response to issues that impact student learning.Our work is guided by 4 main purposes -#1 Advocate for sound classroom assessment practices by engaging in collaborative endeavours with AAC member jurisdictions and education partners.#2 Contribute to building assessment literacy through action research and inquiry initiatives.#3 Develop classroom assessment materials, aligned to Alberta curriculum, that address formative and summative processes.#4 Enhance teacher/leader assessment capacity by providing opportunities for quality professional learning.
