What is the ProFile Canada database?
The ProFile Canada database is an in-depth information profile
of Canada’s leading companies. ProFile Canada is so detailed it tracks
up to 120 individual attributes about each organization in the database, regardless
of whether the organization is publicly or privately owned.

How often are the records updated?
We attempt to update every company each year. However, after
taking into account companies that are difficult to obtain information on
and those that are new to the list, we expect over 90% of the records to be
updated annually. This would place the average age of a company record at
six months. This age of record puts ProFile Canada in the top echelons of
databases in Canada in terms of freshness and quality.

All companies are called every year by qualified researchers.
In addition to these calls, many companies request and receive fax-based updates,
which they fax back to us. This dual update strategy ensures the most current

Excel and Access). Any common application will be able to import information
from any one of these file types. As well, the product can do mailing labels
itself automatically. Once you have identified a group you would like to contact,
in a half a dozen easily followed clicks you can instantly produce standard
sized mailing labels and electronic lists.

How easy is it to export?
Exported data is just three button clicks away. As well, you
have the choice of exporting the data to a text file, an Excel file or directly
to an Access data file.

What type of computer do I need?
ProFile Canada on CD ROM will run on any PC with a Windows
95 or better operating system. Any PC purchased in the past four to five years
should be powerful enough to handle the software.

as city, Postal Codes, sales and number of employees. You can also search
